Cleaning windscreen

There is the cheap but not long lasting method i like to use

Washing up liquid - With a Moist Applicator pad

Working around in circles - gets rid of the road grime and "crud"

Rinse well - Rain X is a cheaper product
I like it - but i do admit it works for a while, but after a week or 2, the mega repel it has a first has gone, the water just beads on the glass instead....

I'd be tempted in this product as a longer life version
Just my wiper dont seem to like glass products - make them jump badly

Autoglym Glass Polish inside and out. Don't use too much though or you'll get white dust everywhere. Best to polish off just before it dries as well. Make sure you use a microfibre cloth.

The inside should then stay clean and clear for at least a 2/3 months.

Just done mine with the rain water again. No smears and easy running wipers. Think about it, when does your windscreen look its cleanest with no bug marks or marks? Straight after a good shower.

Sadly, this is one of the (very few) disadvantages of living in the middle of the countryside. My poor, recently-polished Punto is now covered in quite a large portion of this year's harvest... -- and all the rain does is distribute the nicely-ploughed tilth on top of this....
