Brush or Sponge?

Brush or sponge debate?

Im not sure what to use? Brush is more abrasive than a sponge and so eventually micro scratches the car but a spone can pick up grit and drag it over the whole car?

What do you think? and whats the best (safest) way to wash a car?

Wash mitt.
But if had to pick between the 2 offered sponge every time. Brush is abrasive as you mentioned and a sponge can be put in the washing machine to take the majority of the crap out of it after each use.

Re: Brush or Sponge?

Wash mit with 2 buckets, 1 for the suds and 1 to rinse the mit in before getting the mit into the suds again, you will be amazed at the crap you stop going back onto the car to scratch it....

Re: Brush or Sponge?

If I'd been alowed my Exotica Red Eleganza - Tongue, licked clean.

Since I have to pick another colour, it'll have to make do with a wash mitt.

Re: Brush or Sponge?

Lambs wool wash mitt, available from The Sheepskin Shop - http://www.sheepskinshop.co.uk/produ...Polish%20Mitts

2 for £12, and as long as you rinse them & allow to dry naturally after use they will last ages.
