| Mk2 Sporting Punto Baby!! | rusty wheels ok i was changing a tire the other day and i noticed the pads and discs on the front of my punto are starting to get really rusty, is there a good way to get it off and prevent it? thanks, Ash.

| Fights fire with petrol | Re: rusty wheels wd40 before each drive haha really dont to that. but there is nothing you can do really. the disc is cast steel that will turn orange in a day if wet. and the pads are mild steel backed so they will rust. why does it matter tho? as you said you only noticed when you removed the wheel.
