Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

agreed. He needs to get out more.

Plus who would sell him a car? I wouldn't. I'd refuse to sell him one on the grounds that he was going to complain and reject a car (not accept a respray) for a 0.5mm imperfection in the paintwork..

p.s. all that correction of the paint - wonder if that sort of work invalidates his anti-perforation warranty?

Talking Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

I started reading it and I have to say that to call the guy dedicated is the understatement of all time.

With all those pictures bandwidth must be pressurised.

Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

Cause the whole world is trying to see how sad this guy is... spending nearly as much on the wax as he has the car...

If he's that bothered about the quality of the paint work then he should buy a better quality car. Not a 'made for the masses' Vauxhall.

Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

I doubt very much he'd be paying for these products and if he does not anywhere near RRP if he does i'll eat my hat

If you can't appreciate the level of detail he goes to then your not a true a petrohead (awaits flames)

I mean come one he's got custom made airbox, fuse covers and caps and not just cheap ones..
Look at the quality of the welding on the airbox and how anal he is to get the "right" design for him.. on everything, even the pretty tame ICE install is down to a very high level, hats off to the guy

Just wish I had the patience and the money to do the same no matter what the car

Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

As a true petrol head... I can see he's made his car slightly heavier while adding no performance or handling improvements.

All he's done is give it a wash to an OCD standard. More impressive is someone taking a old, worn out car and making it look like new.
