Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

Hes such a plank. He will be scared to drive the bloody thing and have to spend hours in the garage after he does venture into the cruel outside world!
Ohh the sunlight it burns it burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrns!

Really though...a bit of care and thought is one thing and its good hes gone to all that trouble but it just looks like hes gone mad and needs to get a life. Maybe move out of his mums house and deflate the girlfriend in hope of finding one with a pulse. tbh.

There's a nurburgring Astra near me, infact there are two of them. Don't see what all the fuss is about. Both of the ones near me look just as clean as his. After all it's a white car, and white cars hide dirt brilliantly.

Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

I don't understand all the hate on this forum! So what if he has a hobby that is basically a form of OCD? He's happy, he's not doing any harm to anyone and I imagine he's over the moon with his car, knowing that it's completely individual and exactly how he wants it.

It's a bit unfair to make comments on his personality or about his social life and wether or not he has a family. For all you know he's married with kids and is a really nice guy!

I'm guessing you all saw the Dyson that he did too?

EDIT: I know this topic is a bit old but I got to this link via another topic on the same subject recently.

actually it's a total waste of time (and in this nutjob's case a lot of money) to detail a white car, it's almost impossible to see the difference.

There speaks somebody who's never seen a properly detailed white car.

Must have spend a fortune. But if you got the money, why not - although i would have bought a better car to start with. Its still a Vauxhaul, no matter how hard you clean it.

not sure what to make of it tbh... i wanna say hes a cock for wasting so much of his life cleaning cars but the results are amazing, and on detailing world even the average day or 2 detail most will find really anal.

hes a perfectionist and takes things above how the average person cleans their car and how the average detailer cleans theirs too...

and tbh i like the attention to detail with the badges and the install

LOL too true

I have enormous respect for him, the hours put into that are crazy, and its looks amazing. I just know my girlfriend would disown me if i spent anywhere near that much time cleaning my car.
