Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

he needs someone to give him a slap and say..... its a f**king astra

Guess that's just down to if you wanna do the job properly and be happy with it or just bang it up and foget about it..

I know how i'd be doing it

Your looking at it as you spending your own time cleaning the car maybe he doesn't have anything more important to do..

Kay- How many times do you get told "it's only a Fiat FFS"

Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

They have moved it to a different section on the forum that requires you to be a member to view. It is a bit anal all the layers he has put on it and imo 51 layers looks no different than 2. If he has the money and the time then fiar play to him for wanting all his engine bits and audio doing to the best level he can possibly get them.

Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

I just signed up to read the second episode to this saga. I can't believe how anal this guy is. Does he have a gf/fiance/wife? I guess not.

The only thing I can think of on that front is it IS his car instead of a gf or family

Thats ALOT of time spent on a car, hope for his sake no bird marks it, something hits it or someone decides to ruin his car; would be SO much time down the drain (more so than normal )

Re: remember that guy detailing his brand new VXR?

The ethos is correct; make the best of what you have. A car is most people's 2nd most expensive material posession so why not take care of it.

Granted Mark takes it to a different level and I can understand some negative comments, but the blokes not doing anyone any harm and he's happy doing what he does.
