I have been using a Car plan detergent with my pressure washer, but is there something better I can use that, will get better results?

Re: Detergent for pressure washer

Bucket and sponge with a top car shampoo, then a leather down and occasional wax.

Keep pressure washers for rinsing only and then only from a metre or 2 away IMO.

Re: Detergent for pressure washer

Why are you using a leather youre just gonna screw your paintwork with it =/ this is what you want now a days

Dave some people think that snow foam is too abrasive for what it does and dont like to use it.

Megs apc is probably your best bet Or you could try http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/valeti.../prod_443.html

Re: Detergent for pressure washer

Yes its difficult to use a bucket and sponge and chamois leather properly I guess....

There is NOTHING that gets close to a proper chamois, not even "nowadays" TBH, tried the microfibre cloths and the best I would say is they are no better. I have no scratches (from leathering) no swirls, no smearing, it just takes work and time to do it properly IMO.

Re: Detergent for pressure washer

Sonus De Wunder Waffle Weave towels are excellent, especially if used with a spritz of QD. Last much longer than a chamois too.
