Finally Plucked Up The Courage To.....

......to sort the bonnet of the 500 out. Since I took delivery there have been a few RDS & some swirl/wash marks, but I didn't trust the FIAT dealer to sort them.
So it was time to sort it with the Cyclo.
Started by claying carefully with Bilt Hamber then it was time to take the plunge......

Started with some Megs #80 but that was leaving the swirls in, so I went to some #83 on a firmer pad, followed by some #80 & finnaly some Menz Final Finish. Found in the warm weater that it was best to keep spritzing the polish with a light mist of water to keep it wet.

Then topped it off with Lime Prime Light & a layer of Blue Velvet.
I'm well happy with the results too, although comments &/or critisisms welcome as always

Gladly, I'm starting up a detailing buisness soon (weekend only at the moment).

I do plan on offering greatly reduced rates to members to both Fiat Forum & NF500.

Takes about a day to wash, clay, polish, finish & wax properly, plus a little cleaning of the tyres & plastics.

Is that such a good thing with the economy on the slide? first thing people do is cut back on luxuries and I'd put paying someone to detail your car down as a luxury, especially if you're aiming high rather than the £5 handwash jobbies.

That's why I'm starting doing a few weekend jobs, to see how things go.

'Credit Crunch' isn't affecting me too much; the house is my only thing I have on credit. If I can't afford it I don't buy it, much to my family's disappointment! That said, Bristol might be a bit far for me to support your fledgling business Mark, much as I would like to (my old Coop deserves it)...
