Bumper blacking

As the Panda 100 has acres of black plastic stuck on, I'm looking for something that can keep them looking black rather than turning faded grey as most cars with these seem to. I've tried some generic bumper black stuff that I got from Costco ages ago which makes it look great for about a week and then it fades. Anyone got any branded product recommendations, ideally that I can get from Halfords and is nice and easy to apply? Failing that, I'll plaster it with peanut butter, but it seems a terrible waste

Baby Oil (I kid you not) is supposed to work wonders. Will get your neighbours gossiping when they see you holding the bottle in your hand as you plaster it all over your black bits!

One ride in dusty conditions, and your bumpers will be brown or grey.....

You're supposed to leave it on for a short while, then wipe off the excess and then buff the plastics before driving off
