| supagard When i bought my sporting a couple of years ago i was given a free "supagard" paint protection by the dealer as compensation for a few teething probs. The only problem is the aftercare paint sealer (a posh and rip of name for polish i recon!) is a toatal bitch to use and not as good as ordinary autoglm products that i use on the wifes gp.Iwas wondering if anyone can tell me if its ok to use the same products on my car or will it damage the supagard?cheers.

| Re: supagard there is a fair chance there is now very little/none at all left on the car its not a magic long lasting sealent as dealers tend to make extravagant claims on it... if i was you i'd wash the car with a strong TFR mix (traffic film remover) good polish with Autoglym super resin polish should see what ever else is left come off see here http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...light=supagard http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...light=supagard its not held in high regard anyway and I certainly wouldn't pay for it then follow it up with either a Good coat of wax or an after market LSP (synthetic sealent) Or the whole hog a coat of sealant then layer wax on top.. some synthetic sealents.. http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/produc...roducts_id=100 http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/produc...roducts_id=362 http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...t-protect.html waxes i like this and just use it after polishing without a synthetic sealent. http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/produc...roducts_id=186 and get results like this.. hope that helps
