I use wonder wheels on mine, works great and takes minimal effort . Be warned though, it will make your wheel bolts rust quickly.

Have a look in LIDL They might still have some wheel cleaner left from a couple of weeks ago it is really good stuff and its 99p a bottle.

also when the car is new a good coat of autoglym alloy wheel seal

http://www.autoglym.co.uk/enGB/produ...6VQ=IJ&Range=1

will make them much easier to clean

Re: sporting wheel clean?

yep, 2nd vote for turtle wax stuff, and doesnt smell offensive like wonder wheels, cant help thinking that stuff is too abrasive.

Re: sporting wheel clean?

Used to use wonder wheels on my Coopers white alloys ( I know it was a mistake now, but i insisted I wanted them at the time) and it does take the top coating of the paint eventually and results in it getting progressively harder to remove break dust particles. On the 500 multi spoke wheels, I'm just using Turtlewax shampoo and a wheel brush at the moment, cant believe how much easier they are to keep clean.

Not seen the Auto Glym stuff tho' may give that a go
