| Grinding Noise Hello all, I've read all the info about the chugging on Punto 8v's so i won't bother mentioning that -although it's SERIOUSlY annoying. One problem i've got is that when i'm going round the multi storey there's a grinding noise coming from somewhere. I have to put it on full lock to get round and as the steering wheel is coming back to centre the car rumbles from somewhere - any clues? Also - what oil goes in this car. it's a 2003 1.2 ( ok so i'm a girl and i'm clueless about cars!!! )

| Re: Grinding Noise yes and no not had anything done to it since i got it. apart from when i took it to the garage and they put it onto the laptop to see if they could find out why it was chugging but they said no codes come up so there was nothing wrong

| Re: Grinding Noise hello! i got 2 punto's A M reg elx and a R reg s. Ive had this problem aswell on the elx. It only does it on full lock and when the wheel is not straight right? If not were probably thinking of two differnat things I think oil wise aswell a thicker oil like a 20/40 would be suitable just check first tho.
