having abit of a break to play on the net seeing as ive spent the last 3 hours working on the car!

started with a wash down with hose and megs nxt gen shampoo. dried her off and got to work with the clay! not clayed a car before and used megs quik clay with the provided quick detailer as lube. no pics of that but clay was filthy afterwards!
another wash and dry... and then on went the auto glym extra gloss protection. i love this stuff and cant rate it enough, easy on and off and results are always good.

did windows, and polished the wheels while the EGP was fogging so didnt just sit on me bum and wait!!

i got some auto glym HD wax the other day, and the weather has never been good enough to get the stuff on.. but i must say... what great stuff!!! sooo easy to get on, and provided you dont apply it with a trowl its so easy to take off too.

the results!!

shiney shiney bonnet!

and as soon as i can be bothered to get off me bum again.. time to do inside and engine bay!

Looks really shiney, but just wondering did you put HD on after EGP, cause i thought EGP was to be used last as it is a sealant.

lovely job can you do mine :)

I put mine thought 2 quid auto clean
all my mirrors knocked :(
and still got what i think is a beer stain on my bonnet

shall take car for a jetting tomorrow

if that fails i might resort to elbow grease(neet to work out whare the 3rd tap for the hose pipe is.

what harm is it going to do? its the same effect as putting on a few layers of wax. if its effectivly the same thing... they its not doing anything bad to the paint

Sorry I didn't mean that it would do the paint any harm, but for the best results you should polish it first before applying any wax IMO. Then I would only apply 1 sealent, I wouldn't waste time putting 2 different sealents on.

Oh right didn't realise HD was a sealant aswell sorry, but as rockbottom said no point in puttin 2 sealants on, use SRP then EGP, always gives me the best results.
