Do I need a service?

Hello, all. I bought a 2006 Grande Punto from a car supermarket in August. It had its pre-delivery service in May 06, so should have been due for its first service in May 07, I guess. I didn't own it then so I've missed the opportunity to have a nice row of yearly stamps in the service booklet. Do I need to get it serviced as soon as possible? It had an inspection at the car supermarket 6 months ago, and it's only done about 300 miles since (5,500 in total). Obviously I'm concerned about the resale value, but as I mentioned I've already missed the opportunity to keep all the stamps punctual anyway. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Ta.

Well in all honesty I doubt you could call the check over at the supermarket a service. It would just be a check to see if it had oil and coolant and wasnt gonna fall apart etc.

Get it serviced and get a stamp in the book. No harm in it. Your not going to loose any resale value jsut because its missing 1 years stamp in the book.
