| New gear knob on cinquecento hiya  i have brought a new gear knob for my cinq, but i cant get my old gear knob off! i dont have the original manual, and my repairs manual doesnt really say much about how to take it off  the instructions on the new knob says to twist anti clockwise in most cases, but it wont budge and i dont wanna force it and damage the gear stick  are they notoriously hard to get off? my car has got to go to the garage anyway so i could get them to do it but that wont be til next week and i want my new one on before then if possible also, my boyfriend said he read that taking the gear knob off on a cinq can cause problems - is this true? thanks!! hannah
