Washing the underside of the car...

Just hit on an idea of a quick way of getting the bulk of the salt off the underside of the car without getting down on all fours in the wet i picked one of these

up the other day in the local garden center just sit it on the drive and drive the car back and forth over it (moving it left and right to get most of the under side) and avoiding crunching it under the wheels....

I also picked up a soap dispenser which is supposed to screw onto those long extending pole car/van through flow hose pipe brushes and fitted a standard hoselock outside tap connector to the male thread on the end and with a short length of hose can put it in line with the hose to pump detergent through the spray gun/ sprinkler although it tends to drink the thinner car cleaners
