Stickers on the window

Hi

ive had half a sticker on my back window so i decided to rip it all off but now ive got that white sticky leftover stuff on the window.
has anyone got any ideas on removeing this as its anoying when i look through my mirror.

also i have a blind spot mirror on my right side mirror which is a pain has anyone got any idea on how to get that off without recing the side mirror?
its one of those square mirrors on the side mirrors.

thanks

Re: Stickers on the window

i used a heat gun and heated it up then peeled it off and then used thinners to get off the glue

Re: Stickers on the window

for the glue left over from your sticker just use a lil bit of spay window cleaner then get a scraper blade (works ALOT better than a plastic card) and carefully scrape it off BUT be carefull not to scrape off any of the heater lines as if you do that then your rear heated window WONT WORK!!!
the missor bit just use either a hot air gun OR hair dryer to warm it up then CARFULLY peal it off BUT make sure you dont break the mirror (7 years bad luck) and the stiky glue left over use the window spray and blade.

Hit the nail on the head there. Acetone destroys most glue/resin based products. Bit of elbow grease - sorted.

Re: Stickers on the window

to remove the blind spot mirror try a bit of fishing line or dental floss to sue like a cheese wire through the sticky pad then use meths to remove the residue
