| Steering wheel becoming pitted. Just been out to put Shabash! to bed and noticed that the top of the steering wheel is startign to wear. Looks like the outer layer of the leather is wearing as there are some beige patches. What are my options here? Anyone done anything to resolve? No tacky aftermarket covers please. Restore or replace options only.

| All Hail the Woodsman | Re: Steering wheel becoming pitted. I think you've answered your own question. Get the wheel recovered or find a better condition one from a scrap yard. If it's got an airbag be careful!

| Re: Steering wheel becoming pitted. Yeah, might just try some leather restorer first. The BOO boys seem to be coming up trumps tonight.
