Hi folks, I've got a 2008 (58) Bravo and I can't seem to play music from my phone (Huawei P9) from Spotify via Bluetooth, or USB, and as there is no aux in I cannot do that either?

Any suggestions?!

It is also fitted with the Blue&Me system so I cannot install an aux cable as far as I am aware.

Cheers

Yeah, it's not great....I use an FM Transmitter in my Bravo, and while it's not amazing, it'll do the job until I can afford to upgrade the head unit. Transmitter cost me €12 [emoji16]

I have Huawei P10 and I can play music trough B&M via USB cable. Set USB option to media transfer protocol (MTP) when connected or prompted. Downside is that it searches for every audio file on the phone and plays it.

That's fine if you have stored music, but there really should be a way to utilise streaming services like Spotify.

Why? When the Bravo was released, streaming music on the go was a fantasy. Spotify was still in development. Having a USB port that could play MP3s was as cutting edge as it got. If you want to stream, upgrade the head unit or buy something more modern.

I think the blue and me system works OK for an 11 year old setup; call quality is good and the media player works well.
