Hello,
I've got a 2008 Bravo 1.4 Dynamic, which has recently developed a noise & spongey feel in the clutch pedal.
When I depress the clutch I get a stretching noise, almost as if a spring is being stretched and it seems to come from the base of the car, not the pedal itself. It also feels a bit spongey. I have topped up my brake fluid as i'm aware it's hydraulic and there are no leaks. It changes gear fine and doesn't slip at all, just worried the clutch might give out on me.
I've looked at other threads regarding clutch noises, but nothing seems to compare, although from generic car searches on Google I think it could be the Slave Cylinder.
Does this ring any bells? Any solutions or rough approximations of costs?
Thanks in advance, Pete
