Hi guys,

Can someone tell me if the dash USB connection can be upgraded to AUX+USB? The part I found is this:

ebay.co.uk/itm/122055104490

Would this be a one for one swap? Plug and play sort of thing, even though my current one is USB only.

If this can be swapped, how do you remove the original Blue&Me USB part, without breaking anything?

Thanks

Since I am new I couldn't post the whole link, please copy and paste it into your browser if it didn't open with direct click.:worship:

If you have blue and me you can't have an usb and the aux in at the same time working.
To have both working there is some electronic interface to be added in order to disable the usb from the blue and me to be disabled when there something plugged in the aux input.
It's something that someone with some experience in Electronic assembling can do perfectly although the wires coming from the blue and me interface must be cut in order to connect the Electronic interface which comutes between the aux input and the usb.
Another way is to connect the wires from the 3,5 femeal aux input directly to the wires in the radio conector and have a blank mp3 file loaded in the usb pendrive in order to activate media option.

Do you know where I can find info on how to do this?

I did a small Electronic circuit with 3 transistors 2 diodes, a resistor, a condensator and a relay and so far so good.
I'm sorry but I can't tell you where to buy the complete kit.
I used this diagram attached.

No problem, and cheers for the diagram! I've done a bit of electrical engineering as part of my degree so I'm sure I can figure it out.

UPDATE INFORMATION:
There is Bluetooth pendrive that does it all.
Look here for it

It Works in a fiat 500 with blue and me. It couldn't receive spotify music from the cellphone and with this Bluetooth pen the streaming is perfect.

So from where did you play the music?

I have an iPhone.. will I have to play the music from my phone or will the car stereo read the files on my phone.

Also, if I play music from SoundCloud on my phone.. will it play through the car stereo when it’s in usb mode?

Thank you

I was just googling about the device. I guess it need an aux port too to make it work. My bravo doesn’t have an aux port. So I guess this won’t work on fiat bravo without aux ports??

Sorry to disagree but in my case I use the phone, not an iPhone but an android phone, and it Works perfectly either playing the files from the residente card or from Spotify. From the cloud I don't know if it Works.
One thing is for sure, it doesn't need any AUX input in the blue and me car system, it streams directly through the USB Plug in connection.
I just received another one yesterday and I'm using it to stream music from my phone to my LCD that has no web connection.

I've taken a gamble and ordered one from here. It came to GBP1.70, so it's not much of a loss if it doesn't work, but if it does....

ovarb: You may have given me the holy grail I have sought after for so many years :D

You can be sure it Works. It's the same device I bought and use in the fiat 500 with blue and me but with Bluetooth without A2DP.

Hi guys, does this essentially add A2DP function to the blue and me that can only be used for calls?

hi where do we ınstall this circuit?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but bought one of these off ebay in November and waited for it to arrive... today... only to find it doesn't work on my 2007 Bravo with the 'blue and me' that has USB but no aux in or CD changer.
Have updated the b+m software, tried different phones... no joy.

It's a great car but the stereo is my one niggle.
