Hey guys.
I want to remove the outer glass from my front headlights to play around with some ideas.
Any one know how to do this?
Any one done it?
Any pics... etc

Cheers ?

Need to heat/melt the sealant and pry the clear plastic off, best done with a hot air gun

Just pay to get them done not that expensive PSX_20161226_122730.jpeg

This is, as far as jobs go, not that difficult. What you will need, is patience. Depending on how desperate/you're needing this, you could go down the route of second hand lights, use these for the initial transformation, swap over for the ones on your car, repeat & offer up your set for sale. I've done similar jobs in the past, using this logic. A nice wee project, & you can crack on at your own pace....:)

You could make a wee profit as well.

Knowing me I'd fek it right up.. think I'll look for ready made black ones... lol

You'll be lucky to find a black set of lights in Right Hand Drive, there are aftermarket ones for the Croma, but they're all Left Hand Drive (speaking from experience, genuine facelift ones are the way to go)
