I took it for a run and then left it ticking over for nearly an hour. The car always runs in the middle of the temperature guage and doesnt overheat.
The bottom radiator hose got warm but the top one was stone cold yet the thermostat housing it connects to was hot?

Yes im going to try that as i have found alot of posts regarding climate control having issues with broken actuators......and i think mine is one of them
