Hi everyone, just bought a 2008 Fiat Bravo at an auction car is totally sound apart from the lighting, Full Beam works but dipped beam doesn't also one of the Side lights is not working, the Drivers side taillight isn't working but all the break lights are okay, was just wondering if anyone had encountered these problems before and if anyone knew what the issue is, thanks in advance !

Can you see if you have power at the offending light units. If two are out it could be a switch. Generally fuses work on the tight side and the left side where side lights are concerned. If you have just 1 front or 1 rear missing frost port of call is bulbs and then earthing problems. Remove the bulb holders and check the contacts are clean and free of corrosion. Fine emery paper and WD 40 should do the cleaning.

I have known two headlamp bulbs go together but its unusual. Check power at the light connector with a voltmeter , change the fuses if necessary first, check the earth is good and change the bulbs and if that is necessary. If not it is probably the switch. Before replacing that get an ECU fault read out jsut in case.
