HI Guys

I have a Fiat Bravo 1.9 Sport 150BHP which is a great car and has done just over 80000 miles.

I have had a issue for a few weeks now where the car seems to be shaking quite violently when the foot is on the accelerator, even if cruising. This completely stops when the clutch is dipped or the foot comes off the accelerator. The shaking gets that violent that the brake pedal starts to shake at some points!

Ive had a mechanic look at it, and had a wish bone replaced as it had some wear on it, but it hasn't resolved the problem. The mechanic also checked the wheels and moved them about to see if the tracking etc was out but it all looks like its in order.

Any ideas before I have to chuck money at it hoping to find the right solution?

Thanks

Lee

Thanks for this guys, its much appreciated.

A mechanic has mentioned it could be potentially be the drive shafts?

It also seems to shake more when turning left buts its hard to be fully accurate with this.

Thanks

Lee

Hi guys, i have a similar problem with my Bravo 150 t jet 08.

When accelerating or when in uphill, car is shaking up to some speed and then stops.

I had it looked at the dealership and they told me i need to replace the whole drive shaft which as i understood is 2 pieces, but they dont sell them separetely and as they suggested i shouldn't replace it partially.

Anyhow, the cost is around 1000 EUR (with the labour expenses etc) so i was wondering if anyone can point me to a "trusted" replacement parts store that can ship to Cyprus
and i won't have to pay so much money. :)

Also if you have any other suggestions beside changing the whole drive shaft, please feel free to share it!

thanks
