Why do you want to buy an ECU?
Cruise control relies on a signal from the brake pedal switch. If the switch is faulty, cruise control will be deactivated.

today changed to a new brake pedal switch and the mechanic said that the problem will be the engine ECU or wiring harness. (i have changed this summer 5 brake switch
)

the fault code P0571,P0572,P0573
Code occurs again when the brake pedal to keep bottom. I will not at this time have installed the switch made a fiat mechanic.
ECU will be sent for repair (3weeks) now i have to drive my dad hyundai h1

Can't you have the ecu recoded by a local garage... 60 minuteso work
