All of a sudden my cruise control as stopped working. Worked perfectly on a trip to Nottingham. Now won't work, no light on the dash, nothing.

I had the same problem and resolved when I changed the brake pedal switch and clutch pedal switch

did you reset anything with software..
or was changing the switches enough..??
I changed the parts only

it is not difficult to change. it took me about 10 minutes to replace both

Can you switch it in the ECU
No idea. I meant tips on fitting the brake pedal switch...

the new switch is installed on the bottom of the brake pedal

The switch probably didn't need to be replaced, it only requires calibration.
Took them 5 minutes to fix it during a service.
