Technical Horn location

Technical Horn location

The horn lives behind the front bumper which has to be removed to get to it. The cheeap plastic conb that hold s the bumper onto the car is exceptionally britle and on mine now requires replacement which involved drilling out and replacing the rivets that hold it onto the car. You need to get the wires off the front fog lights before removing the bumper as there is insufficient slack to lay the bumper down if the wires remain connected. The easiest way to do this is to remove the bulb holders as getting the wire off is near impossible as you cannot see how torelease the connector. If you do as I did and bust the bulb holder on the foglight, fer not as the new bulb from fiat comes with a new holder. The job is straightforward but DOES need two people to handle the bumper which is huge. Have an old sleeping bag or quilt handy to rest the bumper on to prevent scratches. When releasing the prongs on the comb that clip through the bumper have someone else nearby to help. I suggest you use a series of thin screw drivers to hold the prong / tabs out of the way to release the bumper. The tabs break off with almost no force, so be warned. I need to change the body fixing as my bumper no longer sits straight as ist held by almost no fixings.......
