Hello guys !
I really need your help !
I have fiat bravo 1.4 t-jet 150
When I go to start it in the morning or night when the car is cold I get warnings on the dashboard! And the car won't start
The warnings are : security code , abs unavailable, esp unavailable, ebd failure
I can notice the engine and oil lights isn't on !
I can pass it by waiting 2 or 3 minutes till the both lights turn on or disconnect the battery then start fine !
I have recently wash the engine and get a new battery and cleaned injectors and changed engine belts
I'm thinking of washing engine because it only happend when the car is cold !
May it be the ecu ? Or bad connection somewhere?
Please help !!

Anything else I could try to do please ?

In the morning without starting the car do this:
-put the key to the "ON" position without starting the car.
-get a multimeter and measure the voltage between the negative battery terminal and the body of the ECU.
-then between the negative battery terminal and the car's body/chassis ..find a clean paint-free spot to put your lead on.
-the between the negative battery terminal and the engine/gearbox.

Each time test for good contact to the car by putting the lead from the negative terminal on to the positive terminal ( this way you check if there is voltage then there is also a good contact to the ecu body/ car chassis, engine / gearbox).

Write the voltages down for all 6 tests and post them back.

Ok ! I will ..
By the way this is a video for the problem

New update :
When the problem is on the dashboard and engine light is off I try in fuse box with fuse f18. If I release it then put it back the car starts and engine lights turn on
I've tried to replace it and replace all the relays but no result !
So could it be from the fuse box itself ?
The fuse shown in the pic it's related to engine
Note : if I release the fuse f18 the car won't start ever even if i waited like i do before and the same problems happens in the dashboard

Hi,
ok - progress.,

my suspicion is that when you washed the area, the underside of the fusebox got WET , and the terminals are now corroded.. "scratching" the fuse / relay in and out may get the connection made briefly.. but the corrosion then upset over time..so poor connection , and warnings / no start.

That is a very dirty fusebox.

Is the cover missing or something?

No doubt this is your problem.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking about
Next step will be is opening the fuse box and clean it
The cover is not missing but not very stable
I'll tell you if there's any progress
Thank you fiat mates !

New update :
Unfortunately the problem wasn't from the fuse box
The problem has been detected in the engine ecu :(
Finally when we try to disconnect the ecu then connecting it again it will start for only one time !
So we opened the ecu and checked for informations in and out and really we find that its not giving any informations for the second try only for once like we do when disconnecting the battery
So.
Need a new one :(
