Hello,

Recently my windshield broke and it had to be replaced.
Unfortunately the dealer required too much money and a big waiting time (two weeks) to get the replacement windshield. So I choose to replace it with an aftermarket Saint Gobain windshield at a windshield repair shop.
Some days after the replacement I noticed that the rubber on the wiper motor cover ornament was not seated properly. I tried to fix it by removing it and placing it again but no matter what I tried it won't fit perfectly. I'm worried that this will have catastrophic result in the event of a very heavy rain due to the cabin air intake being in the water channel over there.

Also when i removed the ornament i noticed these 4 rubber parts laying down under there. Any idea were these fit?

I would prefer fixing it my self rather than taking my car again to the shop. They will probably cause another problem rather fixing it. If there is another problem with the fitting of the windshield I will have to pursue them inevitably. But first i would like to hear any ideas.

I had my windscreen replaced 3week's ago and they broke everything they could break. The long rubber things that goes along side the windscreen up to the roof are doesn't fit anymore.. one of them they almost broke in two pieces. I will go back and require new ones..

Do you have any idea where the four rubber parts go?

I have no idea, but I'm thinking perhaps it's something they left there when they changed your windscreen. Maybe the new one came with them on like somesort of protection?
