Red line 0w-40 is a popular oil,but no Fiat 9.55535-S2 qualification.

Agree.
I use Castrol Magnatec 5w40 C3 with stated Fiat 955535-s2 spec.
In my country Castrol is half price of Selenia K.P.E.

Ditto I've also used this with success in my multiair. I would say if it doesn't have the 955535-S2 number on it then steer clear. It's worth just paying the extra.
