Hope someone can help me here. Trying to replace my clutch slave cylinder on 2007 1.9d 8v but there is very restricted access to see what i need to remove.Is there anybody who could give me a walkthrough guide on how to remove and replace the cylinder?.

Hi,
What gearbox do you have? Some, including the 6 speed have a concentric slave cylinder. This has a hole in the center which the gearbox input shaft goes through. Goes without saying that changing this involves spliting the engine and gear box. Normally worth changing the whole lot while you have it apart if you are keeping the car.

Thanks for the reply,it's done now. Took it to my old dad (he's a mechanic to trade but no longer works as one) came out of retirement to help change the clutch and slave (concentric). I managed to get all the parts for £160 so got off pretty lightly I reckon.
