Hello all. I have currently got my eye on a 1.4 tjet sport bravo in my local area but I have no idea what common problems are. So hoping any of you can tell me all the common problems are before I go and look at. As knowing what problems might be could help bring the price down. Thanks in advance.

Main possible issue could be the infamous M32 gearbox. You should listen for whining or other suspicous sounds, easpecially on 5th and 6th. You can make a quick search here on the forums for more details, there are plenty of topics on the gearbox.

Another issue could be faulty A/C actuators. Play with the A/C to make sure it is blowing the correct temperature in each of the two zones. I.e. not blowing warm from one side when set to cold, etc.

That's pretty much all I can think of, I let the others give their 2 cents. Gearbox should be your main argument for bringing the price down. Just say you've read all the horror stories about these gearboxes and you're afraid you could draw the short straw with this car, etc. :)

Good luck.

Hi Fiat Enthusiasts.

I'll be trying and discussing about a 150 000 km (a little less than 100k miles) T-JET 150 Bravo from 10/2007.
I read a lot about the 5th and 6th issues on M32 but I'm guessing at such a "high" mileage , that 2 options would be presenting to myself:
1° I have full history and it shows no evidence of gearbox work : at such mileage, I'll guess that it is a lucky model with low chances of failing ?
2° I have full history and change of bearing has been made : I could guess that's good. Anyone here had a bearing change and a failing gearbox afterwards ?
3° I have no history, and I can only count on my ears and get the 24 month extra guarantee...(should be worth in each case)

Thanks for your help !
