Hi guys.
For the last couple of weeks, and about 800 miles, i've been getting the "Check glow plugs" message and a flashing coil on the dash. This usually occurs on the first start of the day, or when the car has been left for several hours.
Car starts as it should, not like the older in-direct engines, when a glow plug was gone you really knew about it! I know they have a slightly different function in a modern engine, do help start but do other things too.
I'm gonna check them later, and if one or more is bad, is there a recommended brand to use? Or does anyone know what they came with out of the factory?
The car is a 1.9 16v 150 MJ.
Any help would be great, cheers.
