Hi Guys,

I used to be active over in the Grande forum and have had a Grande my entire driving life...It was time for a change.

I've been out and got myself a 165 sport and overall I couldn't be happier! Going from a tiny 1.4 8v punto to this is nice....and fun.

Anyway, I just have a couple of questions really.

Firstly, has anyone else had issues with poor headlight performance? Having test driven the car during the day it was impossible to tell, but once night time came around it became clear the lights aren't up to much. I can barely see a thing with oncoming traffic. High beam is fine, it's just on dip. It's just passed it's MOT so it must be within legal limits, but yeah, no idea if this is a common issue or not.

Secondly, I'm struggling with the MPG. I used to get about 48-50mpg out of the Punto if was being careful, and around 44 if i was just driving normally. I was expecting a good amount better from the Bravo, however, I'm only getting around the same!

As far as I can tell it's been a well looked after car. Full service history, good paperwork trail and about 17,000 miles a year through its life which indicates a lot of motorway journeys. It drives flawlessly and isn't loud or kicking any nasty stuff out under acceleration.

I think that's it for now, I'm sure I'll find more out about the car soon enough, only had it a few days so far.

Cheers

Hi mate I am having less MPG but I have an injector fault (i think). I think your should be getting topside of 48-52 MPG. Many people have gotten much more...

The headlights aren't the best - but are much improved by a set of Osram Nightbreakers.
