Hi I'm new to the forum,

I've got a problem with my sisters car a fiat bravo '07 plate there is water coming out of the plastic leading to the passenger footwell the garage has looked and cannot find where it is coming from, the car isn't loosing any water from any of the system could it be the air con ? Has anyone has a similar problems and how did u fix it

We have checked that leaves are not collecting under the wipers to block the drain pipes

Many thanks

I have the same problem dude and it's a f**king mystery lol

I was told check the seal round the bottom of the window! But on mine it was fine.. Check yours mite be that

Or the only other place is the fire wall in the engine on the left side can rust try there

Probably condensate overflow from the A/C. There's a drain tube that goes through the chassis floor. This gets blocked and with nowhere to go the condensate (it's only water by the way) leaks out into the interior. Need to check if the outlet pipe is clear...

In the horizontal tray about 150mm beneath the wipers there are a couple of plastic/rubber duck bills (plastic/rubber grommets) about 75mm x 30mm pointing downwards. They are largely hidden from immediate view but they are about 300mm apart behind the air filter. These clog up with detritus and form a sludge blocking the drainage from the windscreen wiper tray. This causes any accumulation of water in the tray to overflow and find the easiest route to the inside of the car ie the footwell. You'll need to feel around for these plastic duck bills as they are well hidden, but they come out easily - much easier than it is to put them back!! If you have any water sloshing around in the wiper tray you can be fairly sure these drains are blocked.

Also check the doors, they have drain holes in the very bottom of them but dirt and crap gets between the door and the seal that runs along the bottom of the door and blocks them. My Mrs had a bravo before the Punto and they used to do it. I drained out roughly 2 gallons from one of the rear doors before
