Hi. Im looking for anyone that has had the same problem or knows of anyone that has. I have only had my Bravo m jet 1.9 diesel 58 plate for 2 wks but have noticed on the l h side column at the back of car that there is a damp patch after heavy rain. i thought at 1st it may be coming in via the aerial that is at the back, but the damp is isolated to just that ciorner and no where else.
Appreciate any advice ??????????????

I have head of this before and it may be a biggish problem. There have been reports of shoddy welding and poor fit of roof panels. You need to look under the roof trims and check. If it is this I would ask Fiat to resolve it as there is a good body guarantee. It may be possible to effect a fix without massive expense, if Fiat won't help find a good independent body repair man. Its surely disappointing on a new purchase but can be fixed. I wish you the best of luck and would be interested to hear how you get on as it is something I worry about!

Hi I also own a 58 plate Bravo 1.9 Sport which I have had since 2009. I also have water leaking in from somewhere at the rear nearside pillar. The rain drips through the crescent shaped slot where the seat belt emerges. This has only recently started and I have no idea where it could be coming from. The offside seems ok. All a bit worrying. Hi All,
Please look my old post about leaking roof/water leak

my bravo did this a few years ago... what i noticed:
-it started infiltrating after a long period of not washing the car.. leafs and twigs and dust accumulated in on the upper side of the hatch gasket/ rubber seal.... where the hatch hinges are.... basically water did not drain and through capillary action it got pulled on the inside of the car, it got in between the rubber seal and the steel lip that the rubber seal attaches to.

What i did:
-remove the rubber seals( it just lifts up)
-i put a lot of silicone grease(it should not damage the rubber) in the rubber seal's slot
-reinstall the rubber seal

I had no more problems with water infiltrating there.
but i also clean the place where water accumulated in the past, i remove the crap that settles there at leas every few days if i park it under trees.

It turns out my problem was the aerial seal had perished. When i asked why it was isolated to one side only i was told there is a clip underneath that when the rain water hitut , it was directing it to the left, hence no leaking to the right.
I gave it light jet hose last night and so far so good. Fingers crossed that the problem is solved.
Watch this space!
Thanks for replies guys ??

I had the same problem on my GP and it was the aerial too. (same part with bravo)
