Does anyone else have a problem getting paint 487 - on a 2013 Bravo?


I am thinking of returning the car to the seller as not of merchantable quality if I cannot get paint to match. It is not 487/A or /B.


What is the matter with the people who make and sell products with such obvious deficiencies?


Halfords say the paint cannot be mixed due to toxicity of one required component.......


Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

My car's paint code is 487/B, which is Cl Jazz Blue, or on the touch up pack it says Blue Notturno Mic, which agrees with the sticker on my car.. What colour is your car supposed to be?

If you lift the bonnet, the colour ID sticker is under the bonnet, at the front, to your left as you face the car

Well I have had a look and the code is 487 & Blue Nottutno MIC.HWB but I have tried 487/B and it seems to be a slightly paler and brighter (nicer)colour. my paint seems to have a slight purple hue in some lights but mostly looks dark metallic blu.
I will try another paint stick and see if it matches better. It does say on the Fiat web site that the paint must match the sticker which just says 487. Does my colour description match yours?

I'm sure you have the "right" touch up. My car has that purple hint, and looks different in different light. Maybe you need to shake the touch up thoroughly before use. Your touchup may be 8 years old!!!!

a 487 paint stick from France was the same colour and didnt match so I have paid a scratch repair firm to deal with the problem and they supplied some matching paint. Mt feelings of contempt for Fiat regarding this problem now run deep!

Thanks for the help. I do at least know that the paint code is correctly 487 as the repairer mixed it from this number and produced a perfect match They did a very good job for a reasonable price too.
