Hopefully the title gears your attention...
Basically last night my drivers side HID went out and I contacted the guy from eBay (Hawk Kit) and he said swap the ballists as they are the only part that are under 2 year warranty...
So I swapped them and now neither side works!
Swapped for standard Halogen bulbs and they STILL aren't working...
Checked independent fuses (all check out)
Swapped headlight relay out for the horn relay (no change)
Can only think the stalk is nackered and it's not sending current to the bulb when switched from side to headlight... 9pm and I'm stranded with only sidelights and fogs to guide me at work...
Anyone got any ideas? Just fancy making it home alive tonight...

Did you put the ( short, awkward ) ground lead back on the bulbs as well as the live supply?
