You can do the change yes. Its pretty easy as long as you can get the airbag out (I had problems, hence destroying the wheel lol)
You may need the wiring (clock spring?) to make the steering wheel buttons work. I dont know if the connection is already there or not on a Active model.
I am sure somebody in the past has done it though. Have you used the search function?

Yes i have searched it nothing found . So if i can remove my airbag you beliave that is possible to make the change ?. Also thanks for your answer !

Unless you have the clockspring with the cable for the controls they wont work.

I changed my clock spring but am yet to find a wheel with controls, think you have to proxialign it.

Where'd you find this wheel ;)

So can someone sum up what i have to do because i didn t understand it fully ! Is this possible or not ?? And if this is possible what else do i need exept the leather steering which i show at the photos!

Thank you all guys i appreaciate your answers!

If you don't already have controls (like me) You need a new squib/clockspring to replace the old one so you have the control cable for the wheel to plug into.

Once you have that, you'll need to get yourself a compatible ELM327 and a copy of multiecuscan and proxialign the car to recognise the controls. (or take it to a fiat garage.)

In theory it should work. I have all the components to test this now, however not a guarantee.

So i have bought a new steering wheel with controls and i want to ask you if i buy the clock spring as well and replace it will it work ? Will it be plug and play ? Have you tried it ? Thanks
