I have a the 1.6 multijet. It reaches its optimum operating temperature pretty quickly probably between 5-10 mins of normal driving.
I can't remember how many degrees that is, but the needle always rests ever so slightly over halfway,

I've got a Tjet and it reaches normal temp in about 5 minutesm so I suppose it's normal because the gauge stays in that position all the time.

My 165 warms up very quick when it wants to dpf regen, five minutes even in freezing weather.time to thrash it for 15 mins

Hey, i am a proud owner of a bravo sport 2.0 multijet 165 PS, now my question is if it is normal to reach 90 degrees temperature within 5 mins of driving. The engine is from 2011 EURO 5

Perfectly normal in this sort of weather, and what you want really, the sooner its up to operating temp the better it'll run economy wise etc (y)

I used to hate my 1.6 120 in the winter, took bloody forever to warm up and get any decent heat into the cabin.
