Ill always be an active member of this forum. Have been for about 3 years if I remember right (often browsing as a guest before that) Since I had my Grande, I even stayed active when I moved to a Renault and then I'm back again with my Bravo. The forum offers a community that Facebook can not. I attend events. I proudly represent fiat forum on my car with the official Stickers (2 of them actually). I still communicate, help and ask question on here. The Facebook group is a quick place to post a pretty picture. Or to ask what people or up to. A specific place for bravo only owners to quickly scour a news feed of activity from around the world. We have members from Italy, Argentina and Brazil. That will post pictures of there car proudly. It will not and definitely doesn't intend to compete with this forum in any way. Don't be so naive to think a small group of enthusiasts will ever replace, or "kill" a whole community of such things. Another thing is Facebook is linked directly to many peoples phones and notifications. So when someone replies to you or gives you a mention, you get a message directly to where you are. Heck you can even get it to your wrist nowadays. The fiat forum isnt a place you stay linked to 24/7. It doesn't need to be. And it's good at what it does. I won't be sorry for running a Facebook page with a friend. I think it's a good thing.I disagree, it kills the general chat of the majority (not all mind) and then makes forums a place for tech help only. So the community as a whole still dies
Like I said. What's wrong with fiat forum embracing social media. Make a group, "the fiat forum showcase Group" where people can show off and chat about there pride and joys. Much like a meet but on Facebook. When people start asking questions you direct them to the forum to search, join, log on, ask, answer. It may even help increase FF's reach.
