General Considering either a Bravo or Grande Punto

General Considering either a Bravo or Grande Punto

IMO, go for the bravo

Its bigger making it more practical, the GP i think has alot more electrical gremlins and issues compared to the bravo (correct me if im wrong fellow forum users).

Its a unique car as you dont see many on the roads which brings me onto car insurance

I was 23 when i brought mine and was expecting my insurance to be way more then my Mk2 punto (only have 1 years NCB) well my Mk2 with Aviva would cost £450-500 and the bravo T-jet sport with twice the power was £530...i dont know if im just lucky but thats hella cheap for a years worth of driving!

I owned my GP t-jet for 5 years and didn't have a problem with it. Also kind of miss it now.

The Bravo is a bit of a different car, the build quality feels better but obviously bigger.

Depends on what size car you need a guess, there both great cars. The Bravo is big for what I need it for tbh but I like it.

I had a GP for 5 years and Bravo as a courtesy car.

The GP does have quite a few design and quality issues but is nicer to drive, the Bravo seems a lot less problematic though and better built.

We will all say Bravo, GP drivers will all day Punto.

Now I have owned both and I can positively say that the Bravo is a better car in every way. JackFi and swift have also owned both so their opinions Will probably be the same as mine. All up to you though. Good luck

Have to say, after also owning both, the bravo is far superior! I'm 19, insured the bravo at 18 for about 1400 quid. Insurance this year was 1000 and next year im probably looking at alot less.

Plus, after remapping my 120 mjet, have to say i love it! Mines only a 120 yet i take most things at the lights now lol. If only I had a remapped 150!

You'll kick yourself if you go for the GP over the bravo oXRUSSXo !

And that's why it costs so much for young drivers to get insurance.

Pulling off at the lights is hardly exclusive to young people

So no I disagree that's not why insurance is high,

This is more about the bravo vs GP before YA make it personal! (Y)

You say, and I quote "i take most things at the lights now" that's not the type of driver I want on the roads. If you are driving a car you need to act like an adult. This is not a personal attack just an observation on the attitudes of some, not all, young drivers.

There's many drivers I don't want on the roads!!!

You'll find that quote many times on this forum too

I've paid the price
I've learnt the part
I don't know everything about driving but with my job I do enough of it

So unless you find yourself near wolverhampton you won't have to worry about being near me!!! :)

Anyway back to the thread oXRUSSXo get a bravo!!!!! Bigger, quicker (dependant on spec), more comfortable and looks a million times better

Haha after all that just a quick reminder to get a bravo. I saw you mention wolverhampton, where are you from only from cannock myself

Definitely get a Grande. I wanted 1 for 8 years, I finally bought 1 a year ago, and it doesn't disappoint. When the time comes for me to trade my Grande in, I fully intend to get the facelift version! You don't need a bravo, the Grande is smaller, and I would imagine it would be more economical, cheaper to tax, and cheaper to insure.

It's a personal choice. You need to test drive both to see which one you like the most.
