Hi there , im Glenn from Belgium, im owner of a fiat 2.0 multijet 165 bravo sport.
Last days the began to come a whistling noise underneath the car.
I think it has something to do with the fuel pump but im not sure.
Maybe someone can help me out or had the same noise.

When does the noise happen? And where about can you hear it?

The sound start to happen the moment when i start the car , it sounds like a pump working hard or something, the sound is always there while standing still also while driving. I hear it coming from somewhere underneath the car, im sure it doesnt come from the engine space

The fuel pump should sound like "euglh click" "euglh click" a few times before starting the car, i cant quite put my finger on the noise as it is very high pitched.. so it could be your pump going into overdrive but that will sound from under the back seats... i suggest starting the engine and lift the back seats and listen around the cut out in the pannel this will better gauge if its the fuel pump

I just checked out the sound by lifting the back seats, the sound is somewhere there i think but it sounds louder on the outside of the car, but when i start the car i dont hear it doing click click, it starts again with the sound like a high whistle
