I've just bitten the bullet and ordered a B12 pro kit for my 1.9d 150 (Bilstein / Eibach 30mm drop) from Germany. After 60k the car is getting a bit too 'crashy' for my liking on standard shocks.

While I'm waiting on delivery, are there any other parts of the suspension that are worth doing at the same time?

Any recommended brands for topmounts / bushes / drop links etc?

I'm about to fit a Bilstein / Eibach (-30mm) B12 kit and makes sense to do all at once.

I'm guessing there isn't a market for uprated bravo top mounts etc?

I ran the equivalent on my Coupe 20VT.

Always been very happy how they start off soft and progressively stiffen up depending on the corners and bumps. Means its not too bad round town, but can be pushed hard on track too.

This lot is hopefully getting fitted tomorrow :)

Oh well not quite gone to plan.

Rear shocks and all springs are fine but front shocks will not fit my car - despite double checking bilsteins own website and chassis number with supplier.

Looks like I need front shocks with a 35mm gap and aprox 73mm between the bolt holes. Seems these aren't made in an uprated form :s

Anyone like 2 bilstein B8 uprated front struts (unused) for sensible money?

Hi everybody,

Didn't want to open a new topic about this kit. Recently I ordered a B12 pro kit for my 150 T-jet. It is supposed to lower the car for 30mm and have the black springs. However, the one I got shipped has red springs (like the Sportline kit). While checking the part number,it is corresponding to the pro kit (black springs).

Now I am a bit confused about the whole situations. Did anybody encounter the same situation recently?

Does anyone know of anywhere that still has these kits? Bilstein have stopped making the shocks for the front and I have found nowhere that has any on the shelves! I need to 75mm bolt spacing for a 1.9 150 sport.

Started to give up and consider some KW Variant 1 coilovers.

Does anyone have a link to a guide for replacing the front suspension?

Jack up car and place on axle stands.. remove wheels, you have 2 x 19mm bolts that connect the strut to the wheel and a 16mm bolt connecting the swivel arm to the back amd finally a 19mm bolt ontop of the strut in the engine bay.

Cheers Steve.

Any idea of what the torque settings should be when putting back together?

Cheers. Thats the drivers side done (Koni adjustable with eibach pro spring).

Biggest problem I had was hunting for my mole grips so I could put the drop link back.

If its dry I'll do the other side tomorrow and hopefully take some pics for a 'how to'.

That would be good. Mine should be here next week. Job for the Sunday!
