One of my 16" Dynamic (winter) alloys met with a pothole last year which as well as destroying the tyre also 'twisted' the alloy (thats the technical term a couple of garages have used). Basically the wheel can't be balanced properly and has to be put on the rear due to the vibrations it causes.

Generally don't notice it, but if going round a bend at speed and it hits a bump, the back end feels as if its going to break away (n)

Anyone know if its possible to straighten a wheel like this and what it would cost?

Or does anyone have a spare (or 2) they wish to sell me for a reasonable price?

I picked one up of eBay 2 weeks ago in great condition with legal tyre for £50. He wanted £65, but I offered £50 and he accepted. He had 3 others for sale - dksalvage was the sellers name

Cheers, doesn't seem to have any the now though.

I had a look on eBay and the ones for sale appear to be an over priced mess.

I saw that and unfortunately its starting to bubble a fair bit.

My 16s were refurbed by the dealer (albeit badly) when I got the car the other year so very few marks at all.
