Tuning T-jet intercooler upgrade

I think the punto abarth one is a little shorter than the bravo.. but are you running a stock turbo? As the gains you will get from an intercooler are very small.. you would be better painting it matt black till you upgrade the turbo as a black intercooler can drop air temp by a fair bit!

I see I guess the only way to proper find out would be to measure it up. Well I'm running the turbo at the max so not looking for gains as such but I know when the warm/hot weather comes in the lag will be horrendous when the car is stool still.
 
What the '!? black colour will bring the temp down ? Man be serious... first of all any dark'ish colour will gather more UV and this will be transformed in heat. Try this by wearing your dark shirt in a sunny day, then do the same thing with a white one. I hope i was clear, english is not my native language.
Now to answare your question, a bigger intercooler will not bring you any gain if you do not change your turbo and air filter housing also. An insignifican improvement will be when the outside temperature will be over 33-35 degreee, but at this temperatures you will want to use your A/C so... no gains.
 
You serious, black dissipates heat better instead of trapping it that's why certain manufacturers make them in black.

Also I have different filter set up which gives the engine the most air it can but won't bring the temperature down, but from experience the t-jet stock intercooler isn't enough to bring the temperatures down & the lag when it's hot is terrible.
