Hi all,

My interior boot light doesn't work. I have three bulbs (the original, and two bought in a motor factors) all are 12v 5w and they all test working ok on my bulb/fuse tester.

Interior lights work, so I assume it's not the fuse (I read somewhere it's the same fuse for all the interior lights).

Dashboard displays 'boot open' when the boot is open.

Just took a quick look at all the clips / connectors under the boot lid trim and all seems to be ok.

I don't have an AVO meter; though I guess this is probably going to be needed to trace the problem.

Anyone with any idea as to the next step?

As an aside, I have four 16 inch steel wheels which some people may want as full size spares. They do not have tyres and are in expected condition, a bit rusty (nothing a bit of Hammerite couldn't hide) but one of them is a bit 'curbed'. Local pick up only; I'm in Cornwall. Willing to take offers and sell individuals. I also have the wheel trim covers if anyone wants those. Again as individual if you like.

I have this same problem I've changed the bulb and it hasn't worked it must be a fuse only problem is don't know which one!

Any luck sorting this?
I found out last night that mine isn't working either.

Well it's not the bulb.....
That's as far as my expertise goes!
So myself guess is a fuse. Anybody know where/which it is?
Also I notice that the dash doesn't notify me when the boot is open. Would that be because of fuse problem aswell?
