Awesome day I've had.

First off checked out my tyres to find the offside front was past bald on the inner edge. 1 phone call, and 3 hours later I had some lovely Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres fitted. Usually I'm hot on tyres but totally caught out this time. I knew at some point soonish they would need renewing but was thinking it would be March/April time. Never mind.

So whilst I was out there playing cars I noticed a splodge of something on my front bumper. Tried wiping it away to find it was actually an area of a 50p coin where the lacquer had detached from the paint underneath so it just flaked off. Awesome. Depending on the angle you can see it but ultimately there's no longer any lacquer on that area so I'm now tasked of finding a quality solution. Can see me having to get a respray done on the bumper which is poor for a 5 year old car :(

Fair to say, I've had better motoring days :)

£120 cash to get the bumper re sprayed. Not bad I thought (body shop comes highly recommended).

Prolly sort it after the next pay day end of Feb.

There is another option... There's an auction on ebay that is selling new bumpers sprayed for 160+20 postage. Just pondering if there's any point that would be beneficial over taking it to a body shop. Would have to take off original bumper, fit grilles, fog light and lower section however so there is some work to do.
