Hi I don't have the 12v socket in the boot but I need a 12v ignition switched supply for something, anyone know if the green connector is the cable for the 12v socket?

Behind the near side wheel arch take off the access hatch in the boot, it is possible that the connector may or may not be fitted acceding to model and I'm not 100% sure that this one is it need to get my multimeter out! It does look similar to the one to the front socket has three wires even though only two seem to be used ( suspect third might be for illumination if you have smokers pack?)

I'm afraid I can't answer your question but am intrigued to know as I want to rig a rear dash cam in the boot :)

Where about is that connector?

why would you need a 12v for a rear camera?

when you have a dual cam dvr, the rear cam has only one cable that goes from the front cam to the rear one. it's the front cam that is plugged to the cig lighter socket.

I intend on having a separate dashcam for the rear not in anyway associated to that in the front.

Just know that a second dashcam is a lot of hassle and your rear window will be obstructed. The rear window on the bravo is really tiny from the inside.
A real dual cam is a lot more practical with everything controllable from the same interface, a single sd card for both feeds and its rear cam is so small it's invisible.

just my 2 cents.

That's fair enough. Regardless, I still want a second independent camera :D

To answer my own question that plug is not the 12v feed no idea what it's for. Maybe magic parking which I don't have, anyway I did find the 12v feed a bit further to the rear in the same area so dab box hooked up and running. It's the white plug in the picture
